Gasthaus Maxhof in Munich

Always very tasty and fresh food. Even if you order the dishes to be picked up, they are always fresh. The beer garden is very nice in summer. Our children like to play in the playground while we can eat in peace. It's also very cozy in the restaurant.

Unfortunately only 5 stars. The service is great and the food is delicious. Everything is freshly prepared and of course you can taste it. Everything goes very quickly. Had several courses and they were all brought to the table one by one. Staff courteous and very friendly. We'd love to come back.

Because of Corona, we ordered various schnitzel and cordon bleu to pick up from Gasthaus Maxhof. The food was delicious and the price-performance ratio is absolutely okay. The portions are extremely large. Lovely again!

Been there a couple of times to eat (because it's in my neighborhood) and always very delicious and large portions. Prices very fair👍 Definitely to be recommended. Just keep it up.

Schnitzel are great. Only my side dish was not edible. Sour potato salad. And not made by yourself, bought at the metro or supermarket. And at the beginning waiter polite, then you had to call or raise your hand to be noticed.

A very spacious beer garden, trees and umbrellas provide enough shade, a playground for children and an inexpensive, "good kitchen"! .... overall recommendable!

The ambience is amazing, peaceful. Food portions are quite generous and taste nice & fresh. We tried Nürnberger Rostbratwürstel (6 mini white wurst with sauerkraut salad & mustard dip), Cordon bleu Caprese (with tomato, mozzarella, pesto) & Cordon bleu Schweizer (with onion, bacon, cheese). The helles beer also tastes amazing.

Good dishes at reasonable prices and very friendly service

Food and prices are good, but had waited forever for the food. That evening there were only two waiters for the large beer garden, for whom it was impossible to cope with the crowd. I don't know whether that's the exception or the rule.

VERY VERY VERY delicious, food was very good, service very attentive and very nice. Restaurant is very, very, very clean, which is very important today! Greetings and we'd love to come back!

I ate very tasty chevapchici. Maybe the best in Muenchen. Home made meat , fantastic bread. Overall , place is not discovered , use opportunity to check it before becomes to crowdy.

Very lovely atmosphere, came just for a dessert and tea first time. Then we came second time to tried ćevapčići as they say they make them in the house themselves. As Croatians raised in Croatia we must admit ćevapčići were absolutely great here. The best ones we found in the Munich. Must try if you go there. Pljeskavica was great too. Friendly stuff and great price for amount of food.

It has a nice big garden (Biergarten) where can enjoy your drinks and food outside. The food is good, nothing special though but if your looking for a nice meal a bit farther away from the city center you can definitely go here..
